2:40 p.m. R5 1 Dynastic (3 c Almanzor - Meir) - Opie Bosson; stretched out beautifully winning $1m Karaka Million 2YO (Restricted Listed, 1200m) in January at Ellerslie - the sixth consecutive winner for Te Akau - and resumed showing terrific attributes to win the El Roca - Sir Colin Meads Trophy (Listed, 1200m) here three weeks ago. He has drawn awkwardly (11) but warrants favouritism in the $140,000 AHD Hawkes Bay Guineas (Gr. 2, 1400m). Fixed odds: $2.70 & $1.35.

2:40 p.m. R5 4 Accidental Tourist (3 g Telperion - Megara) - Lisa Allpress; recorded an easy fresh-up victory in the Maiden 1200 metres on 7 August at Hawera, and ran a notable third in the Wanganui Guineas (Listed, 1340m). He has the addition of blinkers, handles heavy ground, and shapes to prove competitive in the $140,000 AHD Hawkes Bay Guineas (Gr. 2, 1400m). Fixed odds: $31.00 & $6.00.

12:40 p.m. R3 3 Rhetorical (2 f Snitzel - Xpression) - Joe Kamaruddin (a1); debuted without a trial in the Maiden 2YO 800 metres on 3 September at Wanganui, where she was caught wide and just collared late. Ideally drawn (4) in the $15,000 Maiden 2YO 800 metres, she should be suited to better ground and her dual stakes' winning dam Xpression (Showcasing) placed here in 1000 Guineas (Gr. 1, 1600m). Fixed odds: $1.75 & $1.05.

1:14 p.m. R4 7 Navalha (5 g Sebring - Afiado) - Jason Laking; ran home strongly for third when resuming in the Rating 65 1300 metres on 24 August at Taupo, won by stable-mate Outfit (Tivaci), and was given a top ride to win a Rating 65 1200 metres here on 17 September. He is ideally drawn (2) stepping up in the $30,000 Rating 75 1200 metres and rates a top four chance. Fixed odds: $4.80 & $2.00.

1:14 p.m. R4 14 Dancarina (4 m Sebring - Dance for Me) - Joe Kamaruddin (a1); recorded a strong Maiden win over 1400 metres at Ruakaka, among two thirds from three starts in her first campaign. She recorded a smart fresh-up victory in the Rating 65 1000 metres here on 3 September, and looks a top three prospect with any luck from her wide draw (12) in the $30,000 Rating 75 1200 metres. Fixed odds: $4.20 & $1.80.

1:48 p.m. R5 1 Malborough Bay (3 g Darci Brahma - Spin ‘N Grin) - Joe Kamaruddin (a1); debuted with victory in the Maiden 2YO 1200 metres on 13 May at Matamata, and resumed running good final 600m (34.8) for second to stable-mate Fellini (Belardo) in the 3YO Colts & Geldings 1100 metres at Taupo. He posted the fastest last 600m (33.0) for third here in the 3YO 1000 metres on 3 September, is the highest rated starter in the $30,000 Inglewood Stud Guineas Trial (1400m) and presents as a  top three chance. Fixed odds: $4.80 & $1.70.

1:48 p.m. R5 3 Cognito (3 g So You Think - Lady Primrose) - Jason Laking; stormed home to win on debut in the Maiden 1200 metres on 24 August at Taupo, and was a close second in the 3YO 1400 metres on 10 September at Ruakaka. He is racing well and can be right in the thick of things in the $30,000 Inglewood Stud Guineas Trial (1400m). Fixed odds: $2.70 & $1.30.

3:02 p.m. R7 5 Zouluminous (6 m Zoustar - Luminous Harmony) - Joe Kamaruddin (a1); was denied a fair start and declared a non-runner in the Rating 75 1400 metres here a fortnight ago, and steps up in the $40,000 Open 1400 metres. A runner-up here in the South Island Breeders' Stakes (Gr. 3, 1600m), she has delivered two good seconds since resuming and is ideally drawn (2) to present as a top three chance. Fixed odds: $5.50 & $2.10.

3:36 p.m. R8 12 Invincibeel (4 m Savabeel - Matakana) - Joe Kamaruddin (a1); closed powerfully for third when resuming over 1200 metres in August on poly-track at Riccarton, and went a similar race for fourth on soft ground in the Rating 65 1400 metres here on 3 September. Given time (28 days), she should appreciate the better footing, is ideally drawn (4), and is capable of a top three finish in the $30,000 Rating 65 1400 metres. Fixed odds: $5.00 & $2.00.

4:08 p.m. R9 5 Campionessa (5 m Contributer - Bella Carolina) - Joe Kamaruddin (a1); stretched out well for a poly-track win the Rating 75 1400 metres here on 1 September, and was a close up second after working early in the Open Handicap 1800 metres on 17 September. She is racing well and look for her finishing off very strongly in the $40,000 Waimakariri Businesses North Canterbury Cup (2000m). Fixed odds: $2.70 & $1.40.

4:43 p.m. R10 12 Belle of the Ball (4 m Savabeel - Lady Tatia) - Joe Kamaruddin (a1); continued her top form when drawing out to win easily in the Rating 65 1400 metres here on 14 September (poly-track), and steps up in the $30,000 Rating 75 1600 metres. Runner-up in the Warstep Stakes (Listed, 2000m) here in April, and from barrier five she will be very competitive. Fixed odds: $2.80 & $1.45.

4:43 p.m. R10 15 Illicit Miss (4 m Hinchinbrook - Unlawful) - Kozzi Asano; powered home to win the Maiden 1600 metres (poly-track) here on 1 September, and scored with a virtual repeat in the Pearl Series Rating 65 1600 metres on 14 September and collected the bonus. Ideally drawn (2) in the $30,000 Rating 75 1600 metres, like her stablemate expect her to feature in the finish. Fixed odds: $9.00 & $3.00.
