Te Akau Saturday Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered during the ten-race programme on Saturday September 7 at Wanganui.

As at 9:25am on Thursday Sept. 5 the conditions were: overcast and Slow9, rail true.

4:26pm R9 11 Ruthless Lady (3 f Keeper - Lady Dehere) - Matt Cameron; closed off nicely for third to Bounding when resuming on Aug. 19 in the 3YO 1200 metres on Dead4 at Taupo. She won second-up as a two-year-old on dead footing at Te Rapa, and her genuine form warrants inclusion in the H S Dyke Wanganui Guineas (Listed, 1340m). Having drawn well away from the rail is expected to prove beneficial later in the day and given a drag into proceedings should enable finding the best part of the track to stake her claim.
