3.29 p.m. R7 8 Grand Ariana (3 f Snitzel - Enduja) - Darren Danis (a2); pushed along handy to the pace when fighting solidly for seventh here a fortnight ago in the $22,500 Rating 65 1400 metres, and contests the corresponding event. Drawn out (11) may prove beneficial and she has the ability to finish strongly.
New Plymouth:
Weather: overcast, track: Heavy11, rail: out 3.5 metres. 15mls rain forecast Friday, showers Saturday.
4.25 p.m. R8 8 Bojangles (5 g Roc de Cambes - Stever House) - Craig Grylls; continued improving form with a solid third in the Rating 65 2100 metres a fortnight ago at Te Rapa, and contests the $22,500 Rating 65 1800 metres. A winner on slow and heavy footing, handling very testing conditions by the end of the day will be crucial. Fixed odds: $8.50 & $2.90.
