Plough (Dead):

Dreamer (Lang) and Spellbinder (Misbah) worked over 1200 metres to run the 1000m in 1:00.5, last 600m in 36.2. Both returned to work following the cup carnival in November at Riccarton, where

Dreamer recorded a win and Spellbinder finished third to stable-mate Costa Viva in the 1000 Guineas (Gr. 1, 1600m). Spellbinder resumes next Saturday, Jan. 11, in the Benchmark 75 1200 metres at Ellerslie, and Dreamer is scheduled for the Gore Guineas (Listed, 1335m) on Jan. 18 at Gore.

Also gearing up for the meeting next Saturday at Ellerslie, in the 2YO 1200 metres, Flaming (Cameron) worked with Stylee (Misbah), set to contest the Benchmark 65 1600 metres on Jan. 16 at New Plymouth, over 1000 metres in 1:03.6, last 60m in 36.1.

Three-quarter pace work:

Resuming with a second in the Eight Carat Classic (Gr. 2, 1600m) on Boxing Day at Ellerslie, Costa Viva (Cameron) went solo over 1000 metres in preparation for the Desert Gold Stakes (Gr. 3, 1600m) on Jan. 25 at Trentham. As did Abidewithme (Cameron), a winner on Boxing Day at Ellerslie, who has her next start in the Anniversary Handicap (Listed, 1600m) on Jan. 18 at Trentham.

King Savinsky (Misbah) worked solo over 1400 metres ahead of racing on Monday Jan. 6 at Rotorua. Show No Emotion (Misbah) worked solo over 1200 metres, Equanimity (Lang) went 800m, Sir Darci (Cameron) 800m, Pride And Passion (Lang) 1000m, Seline (Lang) 1200m, My Fiancée (Cameron) 800m, 2 f Minstrel Court - Palais Jamai (Misbah) and 2 f Saperavi - Encosta Lotta (Cameron) worked together over 600 metres, 2 f King's Chapel - Sea Rhythm (Lang) and 2 f Minstrel Court - La Conga (Misbah) 600m, Flying Solo (Misbah) and La Adelita (Lang).

Fiftyshadesofbay (Misbah), Our Drahma Queen (O'Grady) and Rock ‘N' Sox (Lang) worked together over 400 metres on the all-weather track.
