Te Akau Saturday Trackwork

Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday July 19 -

Course proper (Slow9) - jump outs:

1 c Fastnet Rock - Festival Princess (Allen), 1 c Fastnet Rock - Morgalicious (Roff) and 1 c Pins - Laurinel Princess (Hercock) jumped out of the race day gates and went 200 metres before easing up. Affinee (1 f Exceed and Excel - Household) (Hercock), 2 f Mastercraftsman - Due Diligence (Allen) and 1 f Minstrel Court - Paixanito (Roff) did the same.

Three-quarter pace on the sand track:

Abidewithme (Hercock) went solo over 800 metres, as did Alchemy's Flight (Miller), Darci's Dream (Miller), Urban Angel (Miller) and Sir Darci (Hercock).

Two-Year-Old Grass track, three-quarter pace (Slow):

Scandinavian (Miller) worked solo over 800 metres. Opulent (Roff) and Tricoteuse (Miller) were followed by Zarules (Hercock) over 800 metres. Cathedral Cove (Allen) and Latin Rose (Hercock) went together over 600 metres.
