Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday August 9 -

Course proper (Heavy):

Gearing up to race over 2100 metres next Saturday at Te Rapa, Prospero (Hercock) worked over a mile. He covered the 1200 metres in 1:28.6, last 600m in 42.3.

Urban Angel (Myers) galloped 1000 metres in 1:09.3, last 600m in 39. She holds a nomination for Benchmark 85 1400 metres next Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Ruakaka.

Sand track:

Merrily worked over 800 metres on the sand track in 56.1 and the final 600m in 41.3. Longbeach (Richards) worked over 1000 metres in 1:09.6, last 600 in 40.2. La Adelita (Allen) covered 800 metres in 57.4, last 600m in 42.9. Dreamer (Samuelsson) ran 800 metres in 55.2, last 600m 39.7. Clos De Tart (K. Price) went 800 metres in 55.4, last 600m in 40.5.

Bronte Lass (Hercock) and Flirty Gertey (Roff) galloped 800 metres in 54.9, last 600m in 39.8. Latin Rose (Roff) and 3 f Mastercraftsman - Due Diligence (Allen) worked over 800 metres in 56.3, last 600m in 40.4.

Three-quarter pace on the sand track:

Auriol (J. Price) and Quintette (K. Price) worked together over 800 metres, as did Sonsy (Roff) and 3 f Savabeel - Mezaire (Hercock). Enhance (Myers) went solo over 800 metres.
