Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday August 30 -

Course proper (Dead6):

Costa Viva (Miller - below) worked solo over 1000 metres in 1:05.6, last 600m in 37.5. Winner of the 1000 Guineas (Gr.1, 1600m) and New Zealand Bloodstock Filly of the Year, Costa Viva (Encosta De Lago) has a trial scheduled on Sept. 9 at Cambridge, ahead of commencing a new campaign in October.

Enhance (Richards - below right) and Merrily (Hercock - below left) were paired over 1000 metres in 1:04.7, last 600m in 36.6. Enhance (Saperavi) is also preparing to trial at Cambridge, while Merrily (O'Reilly), depending on footing, could be seen out as early as next Saturday at Wanganui.
