Some highlights from Saturday's trackwork remembering we have 29 horses schedules to trial at Te Teko on Tuesday - the current list of scheduled trialists can be found under our starters/trialists section:

Te Akau track work Saturday August 24

Course proper (Heavy):

Fog prevented timing (photo thanks to Stacey)

Prospero (Stack) and Secret Whisper (Miller) worked over 1400 metres ahead of scheduled assignments next week at Matamata.

Three-quarter pace work on the sand track:

1000 metres: Viana (Rizman), Milan Miss (Stack) and Orinto (Miller).

800 metres: Abidewithme (Myers), Urban Angel (Myers), King's Rock (Miller) and Longbeach (Stack), Exabelle (Stack), Alchemy's Flight (Miller), Costa Viva (Miller), Sing Like Ella (Stack), Stanica Star (Miller), Dane's Anatomy (Demir) and 3 f Darci Brahma - Pteridophyte (Rizman).

600 metres: Stylee (Miller), Dark Damsel (Stack) and 3 g Duke of Marmalade - Frescante (Demir).
