Plough:    

Abidewithme (Hercock) continued her preparations for the weight-for-age Group Three 2000 metres on Melbourne Cup Day, November 4 at Ellerslie, when working solo over a mile. Abidewithme (Redoute's Choice) covered the 1200 metres in 1:18.2, 1000m in 1:04.2 and last 600m in 37.1.

Merrily (Zainal) and Vive La Difference (Lammas) went 1200m in 1:20.3, 1000m in 1:04 and the 600m in 36.1. Quintette (Lammas) and Seline (Zainal) covered 1200m in 1:20.5, 1000m in 1:04.9 and the 600m in 36.7.

Three-quarter pace on the plough:

Chambord (Miller) went 1000 metres, Longbeach (Samuelsson) and Rockfast (Richards) 1400m, Sonsy (Hercock) 800m, Equanimity (Roff) 800m, Opulent (Lammas) 800m, Tiara (Hercock) 1000m, Davey Crockett (Lammas) 800m, No Tricks (Hercock) 1000m, Brochaine (Lammas) and Light Source (Hercock) went 600m.
