Te Akau New Zealand trackwork highlights for Saturday 17 January 2015 -

Galloping on the plough in preparation for Wednesday's meeting at Rotorua:

Alchemy's Flight (Samuelsson) went solo over 800m in 55.7 and the final 600m in 40.4.

Skyscraper (Allan) worked in company with Frock (Samuelsson) over 1200m in 1:17.8 and came home in 37.5 as did Seline (Samuelsson) in 1:17.1 and 37.7.

Astrid (Zainal) galloped with Arpeggio (Miller), pencilled in to race Friday at Avondale, in 1:18.3 and 36.3.

800m on the plough:

Flaming (Miller) was timed in 52.6 and the last 600m in 37.3, Star of Greenbeel (Miller) in 56 and 41.5, Osmunda (Samuelsson) in 56.1 and 41.4, 3g Savabeel - Fire Song (Zainal) in 55.8 and 41.1, Rocksun (Miller - bottom picutre left) with Beacon of Hope (Allan - bottom picture right) in 54.2 and 39.4 and 3g Saperavi - Paerangi (Miller) with Auriol (Samuelsson) in 54 and 39.8.

More Than Fast (Zainal), Surreil (Miller) and Xtravagant (Samuelsson) galloped together in 53.8 and 39.7.
