Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 7 February -
Plough:
Spellbinder (Hercock) and Tiara (Lammas) worked together over 1200 metres in 1:18.8, last 600m in 35.3. A dual stakes' winner and Group one placed, Spellbinder (O'Reilly) is scheduled to resume in the Rating 85 1200 metres next Saturday at Ellerslie, while Tiara (O'Reilly), scratched off the outside gate late Friday at Tauranga, will contest the Rating 65 1600 metres on Friday Feb. 13 at Te Aroha.
Three-quarter pace on the plough:
Equanimity (Lammas) 800m, 2 f Lookin at Lucky - Highland Lights (Zac-Syed) and 2 f Starcraft - Absolute Faith (Lammas) were trialled by Splurge (Hercock) over 600m, Surreil (Zac-Syed) and Xtravagant (Lammas) 800m, Beacon of Hope (Samuelsson) and Scrutinize (Lammas) 800m.
