Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 7 March -

Plough:

Preparing for the Maiden 2000 metres next Wednesday at Matamata, Seline (Hercock) worked over 1400 metres in 1:37.5, 1200m in 1:23.4 and last 600m in 40.3.

Scheduled to race a day later, Thursday March 12, at Te Aroha, Frock (Lammas) and Maestro (Hercock) went 1200m in 1:23.4, last 600m in 39.6. Frock (Road to Rock) contests the Maiden 2200 metres and Maestro (Encosta De Lago) resumes in the Rating 65 1200 metres.

Bordeaux (Ritchie) and Imperium (Hercock) worked together over 1200m in 1:19.5, 1000m in 1:04.4 and last 600m in 37.5.
Highly Likely (Roff) and Rapid Gain (Zac-Syed) covered 1000m in 1:05.4, last 600m in 37.3.

Three-quarter pace on the plough:

Spellbinder (Hercock) 800m, Gardenier (Lammas) and O'Know (Hercock) 800m, 2 f Alamosa - Sea Rhythm (Lammas) and 2 g Saperavi - Aventura (Zac-Syed) 800m, Fastnet Fire (Roff) and 2 f Saperavi - Doyenne (Hercock) 600m, Lady Pinot (Ritchie) and Zambezi Warrior (Lammas) 600m.
