Te Akau track work highlights Saturday 2 May -

Course proper (Heavy):

Bordeaux (Schistl) and Flaming (Hercock) worked together over 1400 metres, with the markers out wide. They clocked the 1200m in 1:24 and last 600m in 39.9.

Highly Likely (Roff) and No Tricks (Hercock) each worked well over 1600m. They ran the last 1200m in 1:23 and last 600 in 39.

Echezeaux (Davidson) and Star of Greenbeel (Miller) covered 1000m in 1:09, last 600m in 39.5 - main picture.

Osmunda (Hercock) and Show No Emotion (Zac-Syed) went 1600m, with the 1200m in 1:23, last 600m in 39.5.

Sand track:

Cathedral Cove (Roff) and 3 f Mastercraftsman - Due Diligence (Schistl) worked an easy 1200m.

Sunset Pass (Miller) worked over 1600m at jumpers pace.

Hurdle grass:

Working over two rounds, Rapid Gain (Hazlett) and 4 g Ekraar - Cape Win (Miller) jumped eight flights of hurdles. Maestro (Miller) did similar work.

Sand track, three-quarter pace:

Costa Viva (Miller) 800m, Flirty Gertey (Zac-Syed) 1000m, Arpeggio (Davidson) 800m, King's Rock (Miller) 1200m, Sequitur (Schistl) was followed by Bon Marche (Roff) over 1000m.
