Te Akau track work Saturday 9 May -

Course proper (Heavy):

Fog prevented most of the timing.

Arpeggio (Miller) and Sir Darci (Hercock) were followed by Love Actually (Lammas) over 1000 metres. Scratched from New Plymouth, because of Heavy10 footing, Love Actually is nominated for the 2YO 1200 metres on Wednesday at Te Awamutu. Arpeggio (Tavistock) and Sir Darci (Darci Brahma) are scheduled for next Saturday at Te Rapa.

All-weather track:

Bon Marche (Roff) and Cathedral Cove (Hercock) worked together over 800m in 54.3. 3 f Mastercraftsman - Due Diligence (Lammas) went an easy 1000m. Lady Iffraaj (Richards) and 2 f Choisir - Shopping Spree (Rastrick) worked together over 800m. Its Showtime (Roff) and 2 f Saperavi - Paraiba (Miller) went together in easy work over 600m.

Sand track:

King's Rock (Miller) worked over 1000m in 1:08, last 600m in 39. Sequitur (Schistl) went 1000m, as did Star of Greenbeel (Miller). Our Drahma Queen (Lammas) and 2 f Minstrel Court - Paixanito (Hercock) worked together over 800m. 2 g Castledale - Hot n Moss (Richards) went 1000m. Miss Chief (Clements) worked over 1000m. 2 g Spinning World - Counter Girl (Rastrick) went 800m.

Two-year-old grass track:

Butch Cassidy (Roff) and Just Call Me Riley (Miller) worked together over 800m. Linchpin (Hercock) worked solo over 800m. Grandeur (Miller) and 2 c Fastnet Rock - Apple Charlotte (Roff) were followed by Bounteous (Hercock) over 600m.
