Course proper (Dead):
Hardcore Rock (Miller) prepared for racing on Monday at Avondale, when working over 1000 metres in 1:10.2, last 600m in 40.5. He has drawn barrier one over 1400 metres.
Debut winners Alchemy's Flight (Miller) and Enhance (Lang) went 1000 metres in 1:06.5, last 600 in 37.5. They have both drawn nicely for the Benchmark 65 Fillies & Mares 1200 metres on Wednesday at Taupo.
Also for Taupo, King Savinsky (Lang), and Prospero (Miller), gearing up for a mile at the local meeting next Saturday at Matamata, set off over 1400 metres and closed the 1200m in 1:19.5, final 600m 37.6.
Kicking off his racing career on Wednesday at Taupo, Longbeach (Miller) worked with recent smart winner Chambord (Lang) over 1000 metres in 1:07, with the last 600m in 37.8.
On the sand; capable mares Cold Snap (Miller) and Urban Angel (Lang) worked up on the bridle in 1:07 for 1000 metres, last 600m in 37.7, ahead of their respective assignments on Wednesday at Taupo.

Abidewithme (Myers) worked solo, as did Costa Viva (Dee), Jewels Gift (Dee), Sovereign Rose (Myers), Flirty Gertey (Dee), Bronte Lass (Dee), and b (Dee). In pairs: Aspen (Lang) and Sir Darci (Miller), 3 f Guillotine - Greta Hall (Lang) and 3 f Volksraad - Rapida (Miller), Flying Therese (Lang) and 3 f Zabeel - Thistle Cove (Miller), Riverenza (Ellis) and Stylee (Miller), 3 f Minstrel Court - Nat the Brat (Dee) and 3 g Duke of Marmalade - Frescante (Lang), Highly Likely (Miller) and Maestro (Lang), Cajero (Gerard) and 3 g King's Chapel - Effortlessly (Ellis).
