Course proper (Heavy):
Preparing for the Rating 75 2200 metres on Monday at Ellerslie, Highly Likely (Lammas) worked in company over a mile. Highly Likely (High Chaparral) ran the 1000m in 1:09, last 600m in 39.8.
Maestro (Miller) and Scandinavian (Lammas) worked well together over 1200 metres. They clocked the 1000m in 1:08.1, last 600m 39.8. Both horses have engagements at the local meeting on Wednesday at Matamata.
Sand track:
Hysteria Lane (Lammas) worked solo, clocking 1:14 over 1000m at three-quarter pace with her race day rider aboard. Hysteria Lane (Perfectly Ready) was scratched today from the 3YO 1200 metres at Ellerslie, in preference for the Rating 65 1200 metres at their Queen's Birthday meeting on Monday.
King's Rock (Hanafi) also went solo over 1000m at three-quarter pace.
Bordeaux (Hanafi) and Miss Chief (Roff) went 1000m in 1:06.5, last 600m in 39. Miss Chief (Keeper) makes her debut in the Maiden 1400 metres on Wednesday at Matamata, while Bordeaux (High Chaparral) continues to thrive in training prior to the Maiden 1600 metres next Saturday at Te Rapa.
All-weather track:
Yearling filly Minstrel Court - Pinstinct (Hanafi) and a colt: O'Reilly - Royal Era (Hercock) worked up together against the rail over 400m at three-quarter pace and once again at half-pace.
Working as a trio, Christine Louise (Price), Coincidence (Lammas) and Niamh Elizabeth (Hanafi) went over 600m at three-quarter pace.
