Sand track:

Preparing to race on Wednesday at Taupo, Eprit De Corps (Hercock) and Rocksun (K. Jones) went 1000m in 1:06.5, last 600m in 37.1. Nominated for the same meeting, Duchess Kate (Hercock) and Our Abbadean (K. Jones) did similar work over 1000m.

Resuming at Taupo, Star of Greenbeel (Hercock) ran 1000m in 1:07, last 600m in 37.4.

Opulent (K. Jones) ran an easy 800m in 56, last 600m in 40, as did Its Our Showtime (K. Jones) and Lady Pinot (Hercock).

Sand track, three-quarter pace:

Maestro (Moore - main picture) was relaxed in his work over 800m.

All-weather:

Skyscraper (Hercock) pleased when working solo over a mile, coming the 1000m in 1:04.
