Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 28 November -

Course proper (Slow):

Echezeaux (Hercock) went easy over 1000m in 1:11, last 600m in 39.8, in preparation for the Maiden 1600 metres next Thursday at New Plymouth.

3 f Showcasing - Louders (Hanafi - main picture) went an easy 1000m in 1:12.3 and last 600m in 41.

All-weather track:

Red Poppy (Zac-Syed) and Vinevale (Hercock) ran 1000m in 1:05.7, last 600m 37.2. Both are nominated to debut in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres next Wednesday at Avondale.

Highly Likely (Zac-Syed) went an easy 2000m. He ran the 1000m in 1:08, which was very good work.

Bordeaux (K. Jones) and Maestro (Ritchie) ran 1000m in 1:12, last 600m in 40.

Heroic Valour (Shailer) and 2 g Pins - Miss Katella (Richards) worked well over 600m at three-quarter pace, quickening the last bit.

Leonessa (Fawcett) and 2 f Rip Van Winkle - Bak da Princess (Gerard) ran 600m at three-quarter pace in 46, both looking professional.

Herschal (Ritchie) and Point Percy (K. Jones) went 1000m in 1:11.1, last 600m in 39.5. Herschal (Savabeel) is nominated to debut over 1100m or 1200m on Wednesday at Avondale and Point Percy (Sir Percy) resumes in the Rating 65 1200 metres next Thursday at New Plymouth.

Ekraarstatic (Hercock) went 2000m at three-quarter pace, running the 1000m in 1:06.
