Te Akau track work highlights Saturday 12 March -

Plough:

Arpeggio (K. Jones) and Smashing (Lammas) worked together over 1000m in 1:07, last 600m in 37.3, both going well.

Thetruthisoutthere (K. Jones) and Zambezi Warrior (Lammas) galloped 1200m in 1:18, last 600m in 36.4.

Chambord (Leveque) clocked 1:05.2, last 600m in 38, galloping with a mate.

Primrose (Fawcett) and 3 f High Chaparral - Star Affair (Hanafi) went an easy 800m in 52, last 600m in 38. Lucy Wyldstyle (K. Price) and Sylvia's Special (M. Grylls) did similar work, home in 40. As did Lady Pinot (Lammas), coming home in 39.

Jimana (Miller) ran an easy 800m in 55, last 600m in 40, working with a mate. 2 g Alamosa - La Confidente (Fawcett - below left) and 2 c Showcasing - Vannista Belle (Richards - below right), followed by Ocean Rock (M. Grylls - above), all looked good in similar work.

Tatters (M. Grylls) went 1000m, quickening the final 600m in 37.5.

Plough, three-quarter pace:

Racing on Monday at Hawera, Herschal (Lammas) and I See Fire (K. Jones) ran 1000m in 1:15, last 600m in 42.

Play for Time (Miller) and 3 f Alamosa - Popsy (Hanafi - main picture) went together over 600m, in pleasing work.
