Te Akau track work Saturday October 19

Course proper (slow):

Prospero (Dee) and Sunset Pass (Miller) worked over 1800 metres. They clocked 1:21.7 for the 1200m and 38.4 for the final 600m. They are scheduled for respective assignments over 2400 metres next Saturday, Oct. 26, at Ellerslie.

Working solo, Urban Angel (Miller) covered 1200 metres in 1:21, last 600m in 37.8. Gutsy when finishing third resuming at Taupo, she is preparing for the Benchmark 85 1600 metres at Ellerslie.

Sand track:

Show No Emotion (Miller) and 4 g Darci Brahma - Royal Rhythm (Dee) came from the 800 metres in 52, last 600m in 38.2, in readiness to trial on Tuesday Oct. 29 Te Aroha.

Continuing to prosper since rounding off solidly in the Spring Classic (Gr. 1, 2040m) at Hastings, Thrive (Miller) worked at three-quarter pace over 1200 metres as she prepares for the Feilding Cup (Listed, 2100m) on Nov. 2 at Awapuni.

1000 metres three-quarter pace:

All Decked Out (Miller), King's Rock (Miller), Precious Time (Hercock) all worked solo.

800 metres three-quarter pace:

Abidewithme (Lang), Fast Fiction (Dee), Spellbinder (Miller), Sovereign Rose (Dee), Rapid Gain (Miller), Hardcore Rock (Miller), Longbeach (Lang), Stanica Star (Dee), Cold Snap (Miller), Clos De Tart (Miller) all worked solo. Seline (Miller) and Sky Music (Dee) worked together.
