Fog prevented timing of some sectionals

Course proper (Dead):

Xtravagant (Miller) looked very good when running 1000m in 1:09.6, last 600m in 38.9, in preparation for the Cambridge Breeders' Stakes (Gr. 3, 1200m) next Saturday 30 April at Te Rapa.

Smashing (K. Jones) and Windborne (M. Grylls) ran 1000m in 1:06. Both horses are looking to also race next Saturday at Te Rapa. Smashing (Pins) in the Open 1200 metres and Windborne (Darci Brahma) in the Cambridge Breeders' Stakes (Gr. 3, 1200m).

Sand track:

Last start winner Echezeaux (Miller) went an easy 1200m in 1:19. Echezeaux (Encosta De Lago) is preparing for the Rating 75 2100 metres next Saturday at Hastings.

Grandeur (Ritchie) and Jack's Secret (Richards) ran 1000m in 1:05.

Fastnet Fire (K. Jones) and Interstellar (M. Grylls) ran 1000m in 1:06, last 600m in 38, both gearing up for racing assignments.

Hall of Fame (McNab) and Herschal (K. Jones) went 1200m in 1:12. Herschal (Savabeel) races Monday at Avondale, and promising two-year-old Hall of Fame (Savabeel) is scheduled to debut next Saturday at Hastings.

Affinee (K. Jones) and Our Drahma Queen (Miller) ran 1000m in 1:06, in preparation for a trip south to race late next week at Blenheim.
