Te Akau track work highlights Saturday 30 April -

Plough:

Fastnet Fire (M. Grylls) and Grazia (K. Jones) galloped over 1200m in 1:18, last 600m in 36.2, preparing for the Maiden Fillies & Mares 1400 metres on Wednesday at Matamata.

Ahead of the Maiden 1600 metres at Matamata, La Dama (Leveque) and Linchpin (Miller) worked over ground. They ran the 1200m in 1:19.5 and last 600m in 36.5.

Royal Success (Ritchie) and Splurge (Miller) went 1200m in 1:21, last 600m in 38.2. Royal Success (Savabeel) races on Wednesday in the Maiden Colts & Geldings 1400 metres at Matamata, and Splurge (Savabeel) in the Maiden 1600 metres.

Also at Matamata, in the Maiden 2000m, I See Fire (Lammas) worked over ground. She clocked the 1200m in 1:18.3 and final 600m in 37.3.

Stella Di Paco (R. Jones) and Tavis Star (Lammas) ran 1200m in 1:22, last 600m in 37.4.

Flirty Gertey (M. Grylls) and Interstellar (Leveque) covered 1200m in 1:24, last 600m in 38.3.

2 f Pins - Lillet (Leveque) ran 800m in 56, last 600m in 40.

Plough, three-quarter pace:

Ebony Star (Fawcett) 800m, Astrid (Lammas) 800m, Maestro (Leveque) 1000m, Love Actually (Lammas), 2 f Murtajill - Forbetterforworse (Hanafi) 800m.

All-weather track:

Abloom (M. Grylls), Bobtail (Fawcett) and Lady Masako (Hanafi) worked as a trio over 600m in 45.
