Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 9 July -

Course proper:

Last start winner Cabaret (Fawcett) and Lady Pinot (Leveque) galloped over 1000 metres against the outside rail in 1.08, their final 600 in 39. Cabaret (Showcasing) and Lady Pinot (Starspangledbanner) will both head to Tauranga on 13 July for the Rating 65 1200.

Gardenier (Leveque) and Spritz (Fawcett) covered 1200 in 1.24, running their last 600 in 42. The pair will head to Avondale on 15 July for the Maiden 1600 (Gardenier) and the Rating 65 1600 (Spritz).

No. 2 sand:

Promising filly Love Triangle (Fawcett) completed her first piece of 3/4 pace work for her preparation over 600m in 45. Love Triangle (Encosta De Lago) looks in fine order ahead of trialling at Te Teko on the 2 August.

Bishop Rock (Noorman) went 600 metres in 44, enjoying his work. Opulent (Leveque) covered 1200 in 1.31, running her final 600 in 45. High Chaparral filly Dame Margo Fonteyn (Fawcett) in the company of 2g Shocking - Breaker Dawn (Leveque) went 600 in 44.

Scrutinize (Noorman) looks on track for a good spring campaign, covering 600 in 44, followed by Colorado Prince (Pinn) who did similar work. Consistent mare Tavi's Star (K. Jones) galloped an easy 1200, she ran 1000 in 1.10, and final 600 in 40.

Latin Rose (Price) in preparation for the Rating 75 1200 at Avondale on 15 July, worked over 1000 metres in 1.11, last 600 in 41.5. Stolen Love (Price) covered 600m in 43. 2f Redwood - Volk's Princess (Leveque) paired with 2f Rip Van Winkle - Bak da Princess (Fawcett) galloped over 600 in 43. Stolen Love (Savabeel), 2f Redwood - Volks Princess and 2f Rip Van Winkle - Bak da Princess all look on the right track to trial at Te Teko in August.

Fastnet Rock gelding Ocean Rock (Pinn) and Showcasing gelding King Kane (Noorman) went 600 in 40, both catching the eye of co-trainer Stephen Autridge. O'Know (Leveque) galloped over 600 metres in 44. Corporate Missile (Fawcett) and Tiffany's Time (Price) covered 600 in 44.5.

Lady Amadeus (Fawcett - below right) and Lucy Wyldstyle (Noorman - below left) covered 600 in 44.5.

All weather:

Fortuna owned Leonessa (Price) and Play For Time (Burdan) went 600 in 45. The trio of Alrina (Pinn), 1f Smart Missile - Miss Helsinki (Noorman) and Nucleonic (Leveque) covered 600 metres.
