Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 13 August -

No. 2 Sand:

Preparing for the Te Teko trials on 25 August, 3c Savabeel - Pins On Ice (Shailer) and 3g Alamosa - Fidelitas (Pinn) worked together over 800 metres in 54.6, last 600 in 40.1.

Lady Painton (M. Grylls) worked over 800 metres in 52.1, last 600 in 37.5. Also working solo was Echezeaux (Leveque) over 800 metres. The Encosta De Lago mare covered the ground in 51.4, last 600 in 37.5.

Promising mare Our Abbadean (K. Price) ran 1000 metres in 1.14, last 600 in 44. The winner of two of her past three starts is being prepared to have her fresh up run at Ruakaka on August 27.

Two unnamed geldings 3g O'Reilly - Ethics (K. Price) and 3g Pins - Santangelo (M. Grylls) covered 800 metres in 51.4, last 600 in 37.4.

Silverdale (Shailer) prepared to trial at Te Teko by running 800 metres in 55.5, last 600 in 40.4.

Zabeel gelding Amperage (Lammas) worked in company with Shocking Luck (Pinn) over 800 metres in 52.8, last 600 in 38.1.

Madam Jamai (Leveque) worked an easy 800 metres in 55.5, last 600 in 38.2.

Epic Tale (Lammas) worked with an unnamed 3g Red Giant - Celtic Class (Fawcett) over 800 metres in 54.2, last 600 in 38.4.

Impressive Te Teko trialist O'Know (R. Jones) worked over 1000 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 44.3. She heads to Taupo on Friday 19 August to make her debut this campaign in either the Maiden 1200 or 1300 metre event.

Primrose (Fawcett) worked on her own over 800 metres in 56, last 600 in 39. The Saperavi filly heads to the Te Teko on 25 August before heading to the races.

Course proper - reverse direction:

Heroic Valour (Lammas) worked with Te Teko trial winner Corporate Missile (Fawcett) over 800 metres in 57.4, last 600 in 42.3. Love Triangle (Lammas) and O'Naturelle (Fawcett) worked over 800 metres in 54.3, last 600 in 41. All four horses are scheduled to head to Taupo on Friday: Heroic Valour (Fastnet Rock) for a trial over 1000 metres, Corporate Missile (Smart Missile) for a Maiden event, Love Triangle (Encosta De Lago) for the Rating 65 1300 metre event and O'Naturelle (O'Reilly) for the Maiden 1200 metre event, 

Nominated for the Rating 65 1200 metre race at Avondale on Wednesday Cabaret (Lammas) worked with a partner over 800 metres in 54, last 600 in 41.

Affinee (Lammas) was partnered with Stolen Love (Fawcett) over 800 metres, they covered the distance in 54, last 600 in 41.2.
