Matamata:

No. 2 Sand:

2f Rock ‘N' Pop - Doyenne (Fawcett) and 2f Reliable Man - Double Babu (M Grylls) paired up to run an easy 600 metres, crossing the line in 38.5. Both horses looked to be enjoying their work.

Silverdale (Miller) worked nicely when running solo over 1000 metres in 1.76, last 600 in 38.6.

Course Proper:

Grandeur (Lammas) and Lucy Wyldstyle (Pinn) both worked well when travelling over 1000 metres in 1.10.4, last 600 in 40. Lucy Wyldstyle is due to line up in the Maiden 1400 metre event at Pukekohe on 24 May.

Lady Pinot (Miller) and Niamh Elizabeth (Fawcett) ran 1000 metres in 1.11.2, last 600 in 39. Rider Daniel Miller was very happy with the way Lady Pinot worked and Niamh Elizabeth worked well alongside her. Both horses are scheduled to run at Pukekohe on Wednesday 24 May in the Rating 65 1200 metres.

Inside track:

Heroic Valour (Richards) and Hall Of Fame (Jones) worked together over 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 39. Both colts are scheduled to line up in the Group Three Fred Best Classic over 1400 metres at Eagle Farm on 27 May.

Zambezi Warrior (Richards) and Shocking Luck (Jones) travelled over 1000 metres in 1.08 last 600 in 38.  Zambezi Warrior is due to race in the Group Three Premier's Cup 2200 metres and Shocking Luck is scheduled for the Group Three Grand Prix Stakes also over 2200 metres at Eagle Farm on 27 May.

Jimmy Rea (Richards) and Melody Belle (Jones) worked over 1000 metres in 1.12, last 600 in 41. Both horses are due to race at Eagle Farm on Saturday 27 May. Jimmy Rea in the Benchmark 95 over 1200 metres and Melody Belle in the Group Two Sires' Produce over 1400 metres.
