Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 2 July -
No.2 Sand, three quarter pace:
Tatters (Leveque) and Its Our Showtime (K. Jones) went an easy 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 39.
Course proper (heavy):
Matamata entrants Bobtail (Fawcett) and Niamh Elizabeth (Lammas) galloped 1000 metres in 1.11.3, final 600 in 41.5. Esprit De Corps (Leveque) followed the pair and made ground up the straight.
