Course Proper:
Rocksun (Miller) and Stolen Love (M Grylls) preparing to head to Waverley on Thursday by working over 1000m, the pair ran 800m in 55.1, the last 600m in 40.6. Rocksun (Fastnet Rock) will resume this campaign in the Rating 75 1200 metre event and Stolen Love (Savabeel) begins her racing career in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metre contest.
No.2 Sand:
Heroic Valour (D Miller) ran 1000 metres in 1.07.2, coming home the last 600 in 38.9 with Amperage (Fawcett) who is preparing to kick off his spring campaign on Wednesday at Ruakaka in the Rating 65 1600 metre race. Heroic Valour (Fastnet Rock) will look to continue his unbeaten run at Hastings in the Group Two Hawke's Bay Guineas.
Foreigner (Miller) worked over 1000m in 1.07.7, last 600 in 31.4. He begins his racing career at Ruakaka on Wednesday.
Tavis Star (Fawcett) and Vinevale (Cole) galloped an easy 800m in 53.8, last 600m in 38.7.
Splurge (Miller) ran 1000 metres in 1.07, last 600 in 39.
Zip Zap (K Price) followed by Abloom (Fawcett) over 800 metres at three quarter pace in 1.02.
Elegant D'Oro (Miller) with Herschal (M. Grylls) worked over 800 metres in 54.9, last 600 in 40 flat.
Epic Tale (Miller) and Pure Savalina (Fawcett) covered 800 metres in 54.9, home in 39.6.
The Chaser (Miller) and 3f Redoubt's Choice - Scarlett Lady (J Fawcett) worked over 800m in 52.9, last 600 in 38.7.
