Te Akau Singapore Friday Preview

Te Akau Singapore presents six runners on tonight's nine race Kranji card.

11:20pm R1 5 Sacred Spin (Hard Spun - Destina) - Manuel Nunes; a lightly raced four year old and last start winner over 1400m when placed handier to the speed in the running. He is back to the 1200m fresh up and has drawn a nice barrier with leading rider Manuel Nunes in the saddle.

12:20am R3 4 Hardcore Rock (Fastnet Rock - River Dreaming) - Craig Newitt; back in distance to 1400m, he has drawn a decent barrier and is at a similar weight to that of his two wins. Can factor in his third attempt in Class 4 with some luck in the running.

12:50am R4 1 Clermont Club (Casino Prince - Razzle) - Manuel Nunes; stretching out in distance to 1800m on the polytrack, this may be the key to an elusive win after running on well in his last few starts. Has drawn well inĀ  barrier one.

1:50am R6 7 Zac Gallant (Darci Brahma - Clermont Rose) - Manuel Nunes; last raced in September when placed handy to the speed and ran on well despite being run down late, will need some luck in the running from barrier seven but does go well fresh.

2:20am R7 2 Clutha Lad (Thorn Park - Maggies Farm) - Manuel Nunes; won fresh up over 1200m this time last year, he resumes over the distance on the turf track in a very competitive field. Up to Class 3, he carries a nice light weight under leading rider Manuel Nunes and has drawn an inside barrier.

2:50am R8 8 Zac Command (Ishiguru - Dominica) - Manuel Nunes; a versatile older horse who has won five races over three different distances, including his last start over 1000m, he looks well-placed in this event.
