Friday 25 March
5.50 p.m. R1 1 EXCELLENT WINNER - App CK Ng (a3); draws the ace int he first and carries 56kgs with the claim in the S$35,000 Maiden 1400m on the short course C turf. He hasn't show a great deal since arriving in Singapore but does come in fresh, he needs to improve.

6.20 p.m. R2 9 VRAAD - Shafiq Rusof; draws well at two and will carry 57kgs in the S$75,000 Restricted Maiden for 2&3YOs at WFA over 1400m on the short course C turf. He went an improved race last start and with the handy draw (and the step to 1400m) which will suit, he looks to be a top four chance on what appears an even field on paper.

6.50 p.m. R3 8 GLORIOUS PROSPECT - App CK Ng (a3); draws out at 10 in the S$60,000 Class 4 over 1600m on the polytrack. Weighted at 51.5kgs with the apprentice claim, there is a more suitable 1900m race for him in 10 days time and this race serves as a good stepping stone fitness wise.

7.50 p.m. R5 6 DR OCTOPUS - Manuel Nunes; draws less than favourably at nine in this 12 horse S$35,000 Class 5 1000m field on the polytrack. Carring 57.5kgs with the champion jockey up, he is a consistent performer, and rates a top five.

8.25 p.m. R6 4 KING SAVINSKY - App CK Ng (a3); drawn very awkwardly at 13, he carries 53kgs in this claiming riders only race. One of two for Mark Walker in the S$35,000 Class 5 1700m on the polytrack, there looks to be a fair degree of speed in the event so he will be ridden off the pace to give him every chance to fly home - looks at top five chance.
8.25 p.m. R6 8 READY FORTUNE - App R Zawari (a2); the second of the two stablerunners for Mark Walker, this horse has drawn much better at four and will carry 53.5kgs with the allowance in the apprentices' event. Coming back to form, there is always some unpredictability in apprentice races but all going well, he rates a top four chance.

8.55 p.m. R7 4 SEBROSE - App CK Ng (a3); already a Group winner, this horse will carry 54kgs with the apprentice claim in the S$100,000 Open Benchmark 89 1400m on the short course C turf. Drawn seven in a field of nine, he kicks off his latest campaign today over a distance too short for him but there is a suitable 1800m event in 10 days' time and this is a a good starting point.

9.25 P.m. R8 9 DOUBLE JEOPARDY - App CK Ng (a3); he will jump from barrier ten and carries a featherweight 50kgs with the apprentice claim in the S$35,000 Maiden 1400m on the short course C turf. This race looks to be an even field on paper and he rates a top four chance.

10.00 p.m. R9 1 ALPHA CENTAURI - Oscar Chavez; draws the best of the stable's trio in this event (7) and carries 57kgs in the S$80,000 Class 3 1200m on the polytrack. Great to see this horse having his second run back after injury, he will likely improve after the run.
10.00 p.m. R9 3 CLUTHA LAD - Manuel Nunes; the second of the stable's three runners, he draws out at 10 for the top rider and carries 55kgs. A super consistent son of Thorn Park who has won over $300,000 in Singapore, he has had a freshen up and even though 1200m is short of his best, if they go hard up front he is a top four chance.
10.00 p.m. R9 11 IKING - App CK Ng (a3); draws the worst of the stable's three runners (12) but has a light-weight of just 48.5kgs to carry with the claim. This horse needs to drop back to Class 4 to show his true form again.

10.30 p.m. R10 7 COURT CASE - Oscar Chavez; another average draw (11) for this runner in the S$60,000 Class 4 1200m on the polytrack with 56kgs on his back. He has been a difficult horse but his manners have improved this preparation. He has drawn wider than hoped for but he is in good form and rates a top four chance again.

11.00 p.m. R11 6 ASPEN - Manuel Nunes; has drawn nicely at five and carries 55.5kgs in the S$60,000 Class 4 1400m on the short course C turf. If any rain came it would bring him right in to contention but he is always a chance in this company and thus rates a top five proposition. One of two in this event for Mark Walker.
11.00 p.m. R11 11 FREE HAPPY - App CK Ng (a3); has drawn inside his stablemate (3) and with the claim has only 47kgs to contend with. The second of two stable runners in the last event, he realistically needs to get back to Class 5 company to be competitive.
