10.20 p.m. R1 6 Venus De Milo (3 f Burgundy - Breezed) - Vlad Duric; has drawn barrier eight of 11 in the $20,000 Class 5 1600 metres on the polytrack and carries 58kgs. Stepping to a mile for the first time, her race on turf was cancelled so tonight is slightly experimental on the poly, and thus she rates a place chance.

11.50 p.m. R4 10 Justice Light (5 g Darci Brahma - Amaryllis) - Alysha Collett; unfortunately draws the outside barrier (12) in the $80,000 Class 3 1000 metres on the polytrack and carries 53kgs. Resuming from a terrible draw is no assist and he will improve with racing.

12.20 a.m. R5 7 Success Come True (4 m Alamosa - Falaniella) - Alysha Collett; yet another outside barrier (12) in the $45,000 Class 4 1600 metres on the polytrack and where this last start Class 5 winner carries 51.5kgs. No doubt, the draw makes it a tough task, and on that basis - a place chance.

2.00 a.m. R8 6 Cousteau (3 g Exceed and Excel - Maritime) - Mohamad Firdaus (a1); yes, another outside gate for the stable (12) in the $80,000 Class 3 1000 metres on the polytrack and carries 51.5kgs. Another drawn woefully, but a sharp pace should enable a reasonable trip.
