11.50 p.m. R2 10 Sacred Croix (4 g Savabeel - Croix Du Sud) - Vlad Duric; draws barrier 9 of 12 on debut in the $20,000 Maiden 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 57.5kgs. A really nice horse by Savabeel (Zabeel), he rates a place chance despite the distance being too short.
12.50 a.m. R4 5 First Light (5 g Duporth - All Our Chips) - Vlad Duric; jumps from barrier 10 of 14 in the $38,000 Kranji D 1800 metres on turf and carries 58kgs. He has disappointed of late and needs to improve.
1.20 a.m. R5 1 Elite Power (4 g Sakhee's Secret - London Welsh) - Razali Zawari (a1); draws midfield, barrier 6 of 12 in the $80,000 Class 3 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 56kgs. He races well fresh and presents as a top four chance - the first of two in the event for trainer Mark Walker.
1.20 a.m. R5 9 Cousteau (4 g Exceed and Excel - Maritime) - CK Ng (a3); the second stable runner draws just inside his stablemate, breaking from gate five in the field of 12 and carries 49.5kgs. He is in great form but a place chance looks best in a tough field.
2.25 a.m. R7 1 Kingsman (5 g Darci Brahma - Society Lady) - CK Ng (a3); one of two in the race for the stable, this talented son of multiple Singapore Champion Sire Darci Brahma draws barrier 10 of 14 in the $100,000 Class 2 1200 metres on turf and carries 55.5kgs. Unfortunately he has drawn wide in what is a top sprint field and he would appreciate more distance after this run.
2.25 a.m. R7 13 Lim's Regard (5 g Red Giant - Celtic Class) - MM Firdaus (a1); the second of the Mark Walker duo in this feature event lands a better draw (5 of 14) in the $100,000 Class 2 1200 metres and carries 50.5kgs. A staying horse, he needs a drop in grade to Class 3.
3.00 a.m. R8 10 Man of Mystery (4 g All Too Hard - Black Minx) - CK Ng (a3); breaks from barrier 10 of 12 in the $80,000 Class 3 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 49.5kgs. He dead-heated for first on debut, but meets a much tougher field and, drawn wide, rates a place chance.
