Friday 26 October 2018 - no racing Sunday
11.50 p.m. R2 2 Another Show (3 g Showcasing - Tiaralae) - Hanafi Noorman (a4); three starters in the $85,000 Restricted Maiden 1200 metres on turf for Mark Walker where the first draws best (1) in the field of 14 and carries 50kgs. He disappointed on debut and needs to improve.
11.50 p.m. R2 3 Broadway Success (3 g Alamosa - Broadway Express) - MM Firdaus (a1); the second for the stable draws wider (9) and carries 52kgs. A shade disappointing to date, but he does have a nose band on to help him settle and a top five finish would be pleasing.
11.50 p.m. R2 14 Burgundy Heights (3 f Burgundy - Eclectic Heights) - CK Ng (a3); the last of the trio will break from gate eight and carries 50kgs. The filly is a first starter and will be better over more distance to which she will step up in due course.
12.50 a.m. R4 3 Heart of Courage (4 g Fastnet Rock - Myrrh) - Razali Zawari (a1); another event with three stable representatives and the first of them draws barrier 9 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1400 metres on turf and carries 56.5kgs. Second up tonight, he debuted nicely when having first start in Singapore and the distance suits. This full brother to Group 1 winner and now stallion Heroic Valour, he rates a top four chance.
12.50 a.m. R4 4 Sacred Tonic (4 g Pour Moi - Fairy Tipsy) - Craig Grylls; the secons stable rep. dons the famous Raffles' Racing colours and will jump from barrier four with 57.5kgs on his back. He disappointed second-up, however he has trialled nicely since and presents as a top four chance.
12.50 a.m. R4 12 Clarton Palace (3 g Minstrel Court - Zabba) - Ismail Azhar; the final runner for Mark Walker in this $20,000 Maiden event has drawn the seven barrier and is allotted 57.5kgs. He has been disappointing to date and needs to improve.
1.50 a.m. R6 5 Cloudburst (4 g Pour Moi - November Rain) - Razali Zawari (a1); two for the trainer in this second $20,000 Maiden 1400 metres on turf - the first draws out at 9 of 11 and has been assigned 56.5kgs. He needs to find improvement on his first two performances but the progeny of Pour Moi have done well in Singapore so a steady improvement is expected.
1.50 a.m. R6 12 Analyst (3 g Darci Brahma - Pins ‘N' Needles) - CK Ng (a3); this well related gelding (DB Pin) has drawn even wider (10) one from the outside and carries 50kgs only. He too needs to find improvement on his first two performances.
2.50 a.m. R8 5 Hidden Promise (6 g Postponed - Promissory) - Hanafi Noorman (a4); another Mark Walker duo here and this 6YO will break from gate 12 of 14 in the $45,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 52.5kgs. He is an individual that is better suited to the poly track and more distance.
2.50 a.m. R8 11 Black Quail (5 g Coats Choice - Sefidi) - Razali Zawari (a1); the second for the trainer draws midfield (7) and carries 54kgs. He continues to race in good form and looks a top four chance.
