Te Akau Singapore Friday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has six horses racing on Friday 26 April at Kranji - where Te Akau Singapore trainer Mark Walker leads the Trainers' Premiership. Note - there is no meeting programmed for this Sunday.

10.20 p.m. R1 1 Success Come True (5 m Alamosa - Falaniella) - Nik Bakar (a4); drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 56kgs. She is in good form with a win and a third at her last two starts and has to rate among the top four prospects.

10.50 p.m. R2 7 Lim's Reform (7 g O'Reilly - Pretty) - Nik Bakar (a4); drew barrier 1 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 51.5kgs. Aided by the apprentice weight claim and a good barrier (1), he too rates a top four chance.

11.50 p.m. R4 1 Ancient Warrior (6 g Iffraaj - Nuance) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1700 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. A last start winner in the same grade, he is up 3.5kgs in weight but nonetheless rates a top four contender.

12.50 a.m. R6 1 Augustus (4 g Snitzel - Gussy Godiva) - Nik Bakar (a4); drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 60kgs.  A horse that ran fourth in the Group 1 Queensland Derby days after he was purchased and syndicated, he is fully acclimatized now, and has taken benefit from a spell - although looking for longer, he presents as a top four candidate.

1.50 a.m. R8 3 Sacred Rebel(4 g Sepoy - Pandoro De Lago) - Benny Woodworth; drew the outside barrier (12) in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 58.5kgs. Last start winner from the outside gate (12), he has unfortunately drawn wide again but with luck he can be right in the finish.

1.50 a.m. R8 4 Time Lord(4 g Guillotine - Mary Agnes) - Glen Boss; drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 57.5kgs. Fresh up after a nice break and certainly capable of making his presence felt for the in-form senior international rider.
