Te Akau Singapore Friday Preview





Te Akau Singapore has fifteen horses racing on Friday 10 May at Kranji.  Te Akau Singapore trainer Mark Walker continues to lead the Trainers' Premiership with 29 wins for the season with 27 second and 23 third placegetters.









10.50 p.m. R1 4 Cloudburst (4 g Pour Moi - November Rain) - MM Firdaus (a1); drew barrier 7 of 11 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on turf and carries 58kgs. Back in class, and over a distance short of his best - he rates a place chance.  The first of two in the event for Mark Walker.





10.50 p.m. R1 9 Obstacles Free  (5 g Coats Choice - Explain) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 3 of 11 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on turf and carries 56.5kgs. Any rain about would help, and he looks one of the top four hopes.





11.50 p.m. R3 3 Fulife King  (3 g Written Tycoon - Brilliant Bisc) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 59kgs. A wide draw (10) to contend with, but the top rider is in great form - a top four prospect.  The first of two in the race for the stable.





11.50 p.m. R3 4 Win Mak Mak (4 g Excelebration - Elusive Desire) - MM Firdaus (a1); drew the outside barrier (12) in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs, but looks an unlikely runner.





12.50 a.m. R5 4 Bejewelled (4 g Minstrel Court - Diamond Jules) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 56kgs. Improving after his fresh-up third, he rates a top four chance.  Another event with two stable reps. lining up.





12.50 a.m. R5 5 Accumulation  (4 g Rip Van Winkle - Vega Sicila) - MM Firdaus (a1); drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 54.5kgs. He should sprint well fresh and presents as a top four prospect.





1.20 a.m. R6 5 Sacred Sea  (6 g Sea the Stars - Gipsy Countess) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 2 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. An improver at his third start back to look a top four hope.  The first of an incredible four Mark Walker runners in this event.





1.20 a.m. R6 7 Lim's Rhythm (4 g Rock ‘N' Pop - Paixanito) - JP Van Der Merwe; drew barrier 7 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 56kgs. A head-scratcher at times this horse but can't be discounted as a place chance.





1.20 a.m. R6 9 Prince Pegasus (5 g Beneteau - Sassy Peg) - MM Firdaus (a1); drew barrier 4 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 53kgs. He has disappointed and needs rain to rate a chance.





1.20 a.m. R6 11 O'Reilly Star (5 g O'Reilly - Starbelly) - Harry Kasim; drew barrier 3 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 52kgs. He may require a drop back to Class 5 to be competitive.





1.50 a.m. R7 7 Elite Power (5 g Sakhee's Secret - London Welsh) - JP Van Der Merwe; drew barrier 5 of 14 in the $85,000 Class 2 1200 metres on turf and carries 53.5kgs. First time on the turf in Singapore, he can make his presence felt in the top four.  One of three in this $85,000 affair for trainer Mark Walker.





1.50 a.m. R7 8 Sacred Rebel  (4 g Sepoy - Pandoro De Lago) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 9 of 14 in the $85,000 Class 2 1200 metres on turf and carries 53.5kgs. He has won his last two and can make an impact in the finish here.





1.50 a.m. R7 13 Elite Remarkable (4 g Sebi Halo - Baaltis) - Harry Kasim; drew barrier 7 of 14 in the $85,000 Class 2 1200 metres on turf and carries 51.5kgs. He will improve over more distance.





2.20 a.m. R8 1 Time to Rock  (5 m Time Thief - Six O'clock Rock) - Senari Noh (a1); drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 58.5kgs. He continues to race in great form and rates a top four chance as one of two for the stable in the event.





2.20 a.m. R8 7 Man of Mystery  (4 g All Too Hard - Black Minx) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 6 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. He is racing well and he rates a top four chance.
