10.20 p.m. R1 3 Dee Mak Mak (4 g O'Reilly - Best Command) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1100 metres on poly track and carries 58kgs. He improved to finish third last start, faces a similar field here and rates a top four chance.
10.50 p.m. R2 3 Lord of Light (5 g Power - Danwood) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 56.5kgs. He is close to a win and presents as a top four chance.
11.20 p.m. R3 5 Bejewelled (5 g Minstrel Court - Diamond Jules) - Nizar Noor (a4); drew barrier 1 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 52.5kgs. Has won two of his last four and comes in freshened - and with the apprentice weight relief, he can claim to be a top four proposition.
12.20 a.m. R5 4 O'Reilly Star (6 g O'Reilly - Starbelly) - MM Firdaus (a1); drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1800 metres on the poly track and carries 58.5kgs. In good form, he is knocking on the door, and he rates a top four chance - one of two in the race for Mark Walker.
12.20 a.m. R5 6 Sportscaster (6 g Fastnet Rock - Gypsy Dancer) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1800 metres on the poly track and carries 58kgs. He posted a good second last start and is ideally drawn (2) to rate a strong top four chance.
12.50 a.m. R6 2 Sacred Don (5 g Fastnet Rock - Donatella) - Wahab Syahir (a3); drew the outside barrier (12) in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 56.5kgs. The draw (12) makes it tough - one of two in the race for the trainer.
12.50 a.m. R6 13 Lim's Rhythm (5 g Rock ‘N' Pop - Paixanito) - JP Van Der Merwe; drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 51kgs. He is on the ballot but also requires a drop back to Class 5 to make his presence felt.
1.20 a.m. R7 9 Keng Mak Mak (6 g Red Giant - Celtic Class) - Harry Kasim; drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 55kgs. He requires more distance and a drop back to Class 4 to make an impact.
1.50 a.m. R8 1 Elite Power (5 g Sakhee's Secret - London Welsh) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $85,000 Class 2 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 56.5kgs. He is in great form but will need luck from a wide draw (11). The first of two Mark Walker representatives entered in this event.
1.50 a.m. R8 14 Sacred Sham (6 g O'Reilly - Mexican
Rose) - unfixed; drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $85,000 Class 2 1200 metres on the
poly track and carries 52kgs. He is second on the ballot and unlikely to gain a
start.
2.20 a.m. R9 4 Lai Mak Mak (8 g O'Reilly - Pretty) -
Harry Kasim; drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the
poly track and carries 57kgs. In good form and he rates a top four chance.
