11.20 p.m. R3 2 MISS WAIMATAITAI - Manuel Nunes; again to be ridden by Manuel Nunes, she has drawn well (3) and carries 57kgs in this 12 horse Class 5 affair - the first of the stable's two runners. She is in great form, has the benefit of the good draw and looks to be a good top four chance.
11.20 p.m. R3 7 APPELLATION - Shafiq Rusof; the second stable runner in the third race, this son of Pentire has drawn awkwardly at 13 and carries 56kgs. He has pleased the trainer with his current form and although he probably prefers the turf, as there are no turf Class 5 races in the near future and he is racing well, he will line up in this - a top five chance.
