1.50 a.m. R6 14 Black Quail (6 g Coats Choice - Sefidi) - CK Ng (a3); drew barrier 5 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 47kgs. Second on the ballot and he is unlikely to gain a start.
3.20 a.m. R9 10 Lord of Light (5 g Power - Danwood) - Nizar Noor (a4); drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 49kgs. Aided by light weight, he rates a top four contender.
