Te Akau Singapore Friday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has twelve horses racing on Friday 10 January at Kranji. Trainer Mark Walker ended last season (Dec. 8) with 73 wins to claim his third title as Singapore Champion Trainer, and already leads the way with four wins this year.

11.50 p.m. R1 2 Heart of Courage (5 g Fastnet Rock - Myrrh) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 3 of 10 in the $30,000 Class 5 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 59kgs. Dropped in grade to finish second in Class 5 last time and rates a top four chance.

11.50 p.m. R1 4 Lim's Rhythm (5 g Rock ‘N' Pop - Paixanito) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 6 of 10 in the $30,000 Class 5 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 58kgs. He has been a touch disappointing of late.

12.20 a.m. R2 2 Inherit (4 g Pierro - In the Future) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 4 of 9 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 57.5kgs. In good form, ideally drawn (4), he rates a top four contender.

12.20 a.m. R2 3 Bright Sun (4 m Snitzel - Overblik) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 1 of 9 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 52kgs. She is ideally drawn (1) to race well with apprentice claim.

12.50 a.m. R3 3 Elite Remarkable (4 g Sebi Halo - Baaltis) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 8 of 9 in the $70,000 Kranji Stakes C 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 58kgs. He is slightly unknown on the poly track, but distance should suit.

1.20 a.m. R4 1 Luck Mak Mak  (6 g Alamosa - Danewhisper) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 4 of 11 in the $30,000 Class 5 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 55kgs. Drawn well (4) and he rates a top four chance.

1.50 a.m. R5 3 Time Lord  (5 g Guillotine - Mary Agnes) - Marc Lerner; drew barrier 5 of 9 in the $70,000 Class 3 1400 metres on turf and carries 57kgs. He looks in good order and rates a top four chance.

1.50 a.m. R5 5 Augustus(5 g Snitzel - Gussy Godiva) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 6 of 9 in the $70,000 Class 3 1400 metres on turf and carries 55.5kgs. Prefer over more ground, but he rates a top four contender.

1.50 a.m. R5 7 Beau Geste (5 g Street Cry - Haut Ton) - Ismail Azhar; drew the outside barrier (9) in the $70,000 Class 3 1400 metres on turf and carries 54kgs. Will be ridden patiently and he rates a top four chance with luck.

2.20 a.m. R6 8 Red Rover (5 g O'Reilly - Pin Up) - Ismail Azhar; drew the outside barrier (9) in the $85,000 Class 2 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 52.5kgs. He rises in grade again after a hat-trick of wins, but a very promising horse.

2.20 a.m. R6 9 Fulife King (4 g Written Tycoon - Brilliant Bisc) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 1 of 9 in the $85,000 Class 2 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 47kgs. Ideally drawn (1), with light weight, in a very strong field.

2.50 a.m. R7 3 Sacred Judgement (4 g So You Think - Rose Ransom) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 2 of 11 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 57.5kgs. Having first start in Singapore, has trialled well, bred for more distance, but he could be cheeky while fresh.
