Te Akau Singapore Friday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has eight horses racing on Friday 6 March at Kranji. Trainer Mark Walker ended last season (Dec. 8) with 73 wins to claim his third title as Singapore Champion Trainer, and leads the way with 16 wins this year. 

11.50 p.m. R1 4 Atlantic Fox (6 g Savabeel - Kinsella) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on turf and carries 54.5kgs. Any rain would help and he rates a top four chance.  The first of two in the event for leading trainer Mark Walker.

11.50 p.m. R1 9 Hidden Promise (7 g Postponed - Promissory) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on turf and carries 56.5kgs. He has dropped in ratings and he appears a top four contender.

12.50 a.m. R3 5 Bright Sun  (4 m Snitzel - Overblik) - Alysha Collett; drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 53.5kgs. She needs to improve - another event with two for Mark Walker.

12.50 a.m. R3 10Bejewelled   (5 g Minstrel Court - Diamond Jules) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 47kgs. He might be better suited in Class 5.

1.20 a.m. R4 4 Try Mak Mak  (3 g Makfi - Shamabelle) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 58.5kgs. He is enjoying good form and on that basis, rates a top four chance.

1.50 a.m. R5 4 Bionics  (4 g Hinchinbrook - Bionic Girl) - Ryan Munger; drew barrier 2 of 11 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 54.5kgs. He performed well last start and he can feature in the finish.  The first of two for the stable.

1.50 a.m. R5 5 Time to Rock  (6 m Time Thief - Six O'clock Rock) - Ruan Maia; drew barrier 4 of 11 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 53.5kgs. She is a light weight chance for a top four finish.

2.50 a.m. R7 2 Sacred Rebel  (5 g Sepoy - Pandoro De Lago) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 5 of 13 in the $85,000 Class 2 1200 metres on turf and carries 51.5kgs. A touch out of form but he still can make his presence felt in the top four.
