Te Akau Singapore Friday Preview





Te Akau Singapore has seven horses racing on Friday 27 March at Kranji. Trainer Mark Walker ended last season (Dec. 8) with 73 wins to claim his third title as Singapore Champion Trainer, and first equal with 20 wins this year.





No racing Saturday or Sunday - note with the current Covid-19 situation, racing will be confined with Fridays only with no public access at any time to Kranji.

11.50 p.m. R2 2 Sportscaster (6 g Fastnet Rock - Gypsy
Dancer) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1700 metres
on the poly track on carries 57.5kgs. In good form and each way chance from
good draw (2).





12.20 a.m. R3 1 Showbound (3 g Showcasing - Midnight
Senorita) - Alysha Collett; drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $75,000 Restricted
Maiden 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. Trialled nicely last
week and he rates a top four chance.





12.50 a.m. R4 1 Sacred Don (5 g Fastnet Rock -
Donatella) - Michael Rodd; drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100
metres on the poly track and carries 59kgs. Drops in class and place chance
with luck from draw (11).





1.50 a.m. R6 11 Dee Mak Mak (4 g O'Reilly - Best
Command) - JP Van der Merwe; drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1200
metres on the poly track and carries 50kgs. He appears a light weight chance
with luck from draw (10).





2.20 a.m. R7 7 Inherit (4 g Pierro - In the Future) -
Louis Beuzelin; drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1600 metres on the
poly track and carries 54.5kgs. In good form, he rates a top four contender in
a strong field.





2.50 a.m. R8 4 Elite Remarkable (5 g Sebi Halo -
Baaltis) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 1 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres
on the poly track and carries 58kgs. He needs to lift.





3.20 a.m. R9 11 Broadway Success (4 g Alamosa -
Broadway Express) - JP Van der Merwe; drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $50,000 Class
4 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 51kgs. He may be better suited in
Class 5.
