1.20 a.m. (Saturday) R7 1 ROCKFAST - Olivier Placais; the first of two runners for Mark Walker in this S$100,000 Open Benchmark 83 1400m on the turf short course D.  The third placegetter in the recent Group 1 Singapore Derby has drawn nicely (2) and carries 57kgs.  He has been freshened since that good Derby run - 1400m here will be a bit short unless it rains but we are looking to the future - place chance.

1.20 a.m. (Saturday) R7 6 VIVIANO - Manuel Nunes; the second stable rep. is raced by the Raffles' Racing team and has also drawn well (3) but carries 53.5kgs, 3.5kgs better off at the weights than his stablemate.  He is going for the hat trick but faces a jump up in class - however he is in good form - a top four chance.
