Friday April 17
10.20 p.m. R1 12 Zac Warrior (6 g Bel Esprit - Lessie) - Harry Kasim (a1); drew barrier ten of fourteen (12 run) in the $35,000 Class 5 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 49kgs. A horse that appreciates wide draws, he strips in the right shape to produce an encouraging effort under a light weight.

10.50 p.m. R2 2 Hee's Ego (3 g Tale of the Cat - Quatro) - Manoel Nunes; drew barrier two of fourteen (12 run) in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1600 metres on the turf long course D and carries 57kgs. The leading jockey has elected to ride him in an even field and he has a tongue tie on for the first time. Able to relax he rates a top four chance - one of two in the race for Te Akau.
10.50 p.m. R2 11 Molly Browne (3 f Saperavi - Patient) - Shafiq Rusof (a1); drew barrier thirteen of fourteen (12 run) in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1600 metres on the turf long course D and carries 57kgs. Having pleased trainer Mark Walker in her work, she should appreciate stepping to a mile and look for her to be finding the line.
