Friday 23 September

11.20 p.m. R3 8 STARSKY - Antonio Da Silva; first stable runner for the evening kicks off in this Kranji Stakes D SW over 1200m on the turf long course C.  Facing a field of 13, he has drawn well (2) and will carry 56.5kgs.  He has been somewhat disappointing and right need to find Class 5 to be competitive.

11.50 p.m. R4 11 MOLLY BROWNE - Shafiq Rizuan; in this 14-strong Class 5 1800m on the turf long course C, this mare has a shocking draw (15) and is weighted with 54.5kgs.  Te Akau's former two time Champion Singapore apprentice will need all his skills to navigate around this disadvantage aboard a mare who will do her future racing in Malaysia.

12.20 a.m. (Saturday) R5 3 BRAHMS AND LISZT - App CK Ng (a3); a veteran now who always gives of his best, he carries 55kgs with the apprentice claim and has drawn nicely at two.  In this 10-strong Kranji Stakes D SW, also on the turf long course C, he has been freshened up for this and whilst 1200m could be a bit short - he rates a sneaky each way chance.

12.50 a.m. (Saturday) R6 6 BEST JADE - Manuel Nunes; back to the polytrack for the S$60,000 Class 4 1100m with two runners for Mark Walker in this field of 12. The first, this 4YO Showcasing gelding, has drawn best of the duo (1) and carries 54kgs.  He has been a bit disappointing of late and might need to drop back to Kranji D company.

12.50 a.m. (Saturday) R6 8 HELLO MICHELLE - Alan Munro; a nice lightweight for the second stable runner (52.5kgs), this 3YO Minstrel Court filly is a capable type and already a winner at Kranji.  She will jump from the widest gate unfortunately but her trainer reports she is in good form and if she can get around the barrier raw, she rates an each way chance.

1.50 a.m. (Saturday) R8 1 ASPREY - Alan Munro; another race featuring to stable starters for Mark Walker is this Class 4 1400m on the turf long course C.  The first and top of the book is this former New Zealander who draws the ace and carries 57kgs in the S$60,000 event.  He has been quite unlucky in his recent races but with this draw and a distance to suit - he rates a strong top four chance.

1.50 a.m. (Saturday) R8 5 EN CIVIL - Manuel Nunes; Singapore's top jockey has opted to ride the stablemate who also draws handily (5) and carries a kilo less (56kgs) in this field of 13.  He ran a good second off the back of a freshen up and 1400m suits  - a top four chance.

2.20 a.m. (Saturday) R9 8 UNSURPASSED - Shafiq Rizuan; The final stable representative of the evening is another former New Zealander in this Class 4 1100m back on the polytrack.  Jumping 9 of 12 runners, he does have a nice lightweight of 52.5kgs on his back.  He is in good form of late and rates a definite lightweight chance in an even field.
