Te Akau Singapore Friday Preview
Te Akau horses racing at Kranji Racecourse in Singapore, where 2015 Trainers' Premiership winner Mark Walker lies third on the Trainers' Premiership - now with 67 wins since 1 January.

Friday 25 November

11.20 p.m. R1 6 HIDDEN PROMISE - Shafiq Rizuan; Mark Walker has a strong hand to play in this Open Maiden WFA over 1000m on the polytrack with three of the ten runners harking from the stable.  The first two are debutants - the first ‘deb' racing in the Fortuna colours has drawn the ace and carries 57.5kgs.  He will need more distance to show his best, this event a starting point for him.

11.20 p.m. R1 7 LIM'S SEASON - Danny Beasley; the second for Mark Walker is also a ‘deb' and has also drawn well at three and like his aforementioned stablemate carries 57.5kgs.  He is still acclimatising and will also need more distance, tonight likewise a stepping stone towards that.

11.20 p.m. R1 9 ELHAAME - Derek David; the third and final of the trio jumps from gate 10 and for this third career start has the lightweight of 52.5kgs.  He has a difficult barrier draw to overcome over the 1000m but if he gets any luck from that draw, he rates a top five chance.

12.20 a.m. (Saturday) R3 7 Q NINE MAGIC - App CK Ng (a3); with the apprentice allowance he drops to only 48.5kgs and has drawn the eighth marble of the nine starters in the Class 4 110m on the polytrack.  The winner of two of his last four appearances, this 6YO son of Guillotine needs to get back to Class 5 to be competitive.

12.50 a.m. (Saturday) R4 7 PRETTY ELUSIVE - Manuel Nunes; the top rider looks close to being re-named Champion Jockey as the Singapore season comes to an end and he rides this 5YO daughter of Elusive City in the Class 5 1100m on the polytrack where she starts from barrier four in the field of just nine runners and carries 55kgs.  She has put together a handy record in her short Singapore career and although she rates a top four chance, she is preferred on the turf.

1.50 a.m. (Saturday) R6 5 SECRET SPICE - Maunel Nunes; unfortunately she draws 10 of 10 for the second division Class 5 100m on the polytrack where she carries 56kgs.  She will shortly head to Malaysia for her future racing.

3.20 a.m. (Saturday) R9 8 BEST JADE- App CK Ng (a3); to complete the evening's racing this son of Showcasing has drawn six of 10 starters and carries 49.5kgs with the apprentice allowance.  He certainly hasn't shown recent form to get excited about and needs to drop back to Class 5 to feature.
