The 2015 Champion Singapore Trainer and Trainers' Premiership winner, the Akau's Mark Walker (who finished third on the 2016 Trainers' Premiership) has trained 17 winners this season and currently leads the Trainers' Premiership.
Friday 24 February - note no Sunday meeting this weekend
11.20 p.m. R1 13 Q NINE MAGIC - Gerald Mosse; sits one on the ballot for the Class 5 1400m on the short course D where he has drawn three and carries 58kgs. He is in good form, has drawn well but will need a scratching.
11.50 p.m. R2 8 LIM'S CONTROL - App R Zawari (a2); draws 8 of 12 in this Open Maiden WFA 1400m on the turf short course D and with the apprentice claim, is weighted with 56kgs. He needs to improve.
12.20 a.m. (Saturday) R3 2 LIM'S KNIGHT - Danny Beasley; two for Mark Walker in this Class 4 1200m on the turf short course D. The first has drawn gate eight and carries 57.5kgs. Finishing runner up twice and third at the start in between at his last three appearances, he brings solid form to this contest and finds a suitable race - top four chance.
12.20 a.m. (Saturday) R3 4 COURT CASE - Shafiq Rizuan; the second runner and stylish last start winner draws well (3 of 12) and carries 56.5kgs. He can be unpredictable but showed last start what he is capable of when he puts it all together - brilliant on his day, top four chance.
12.50 a.m. (Saturday) R4 10 SUCCESS COME TRUE - Shafiq Rizuan; she has been racing solidly without due reward and draws barrier five, with 53kgs on her back. Facing 11 other opponents in this Initiation 4YO+Below WFA 1200m on the turf short course D, including one stablemate, she is improving all the time - top five chance.
12.50 a.m. (Saturday) R4 11 HONOR - Manuel Nunes; the second starter for the stable is this Rip Van Winkle filly having just her second start. She will jump from barrier eight and also carries 53kgs. She finds a suitable race and is an improver, definitely heading in the right direction - top four chance at odds.
1.20 a.m. (Saturday) R5 2 UNSURPASSED - App R Zawari (a2); a good winner three starts back, this son of Exceed and Excel draws 7 of 10 for the Graduation SW 1200m on the turf short course D and carries 52kgs. He needs to get back to Class 5 to be competitive.
1.50 a.m. (Saturday) R6 1 ELHAAME - Shafiq Rizuan; on the back of an improver's 3rd last start, he draws nicely (2) in this 12 strong Class 5 1200m field on the turf short course D. With 57kgs to carry, in good form - a top four chance.
3.20 a.m. (Saturday) R9 1 HELLO MICHELLE - I Azhar; this Minstrel Court 3YO filly has thrived since her arrival in Singapore last year and her form line tells the story 3-1-1-3-2. In this Class 4 1200m on the turf short course D, she faces off against a field of 12, carries 57kgs but sadly has copped the widest draw (14 but jumps from 12). She will need plenty of luck from there - a top five chance if she gets that luck.
