Te Akau Singapore Friday Preview

The 2015 Champion Singapore Trainer and Trainers' Premiership winner, the Akau's Mark Walker (who finished third on the 2016 Trainers' Premiership) has trained 18 winners this season and currently leads the Trainers' Premiership.

11.50 p.m. R2 6 BIG REGARDS - Manuel Nunes; draws 9 of 12 in this Restricted Maiden 2&3YO WFA 1400m on the turf short course E and with is weighted with 57kgs. He needs to improve.

2.50 a.m. (Saturday) R8 2 GANNET - Gerald Mosse; two for Mark Walker in this Class 4 1700m on the turf short course E. The first has drawn gate five and carries 56kgs. He has been disappointing and he too needs to improve.

2.50 a.m. (Saturday) R8 3 TURQUOISE KING - Shafiq Rizuan; the second runner in this field of 12 jumps from barrier eight. His last two runs have produced a solid 4th and 2nd placing - he ran a very close up second last start and has continued to improve. A top four chance.
