11.20 p.m. R3 4 CLUTHA LAD - Shafiq Rizuan; cops a wide draw (10 of 12) for the Class 5 1700m on the polytrack where he carries 58kgs. He is enjoying great form, this older horse now. With a recent form line of 5-1-2-3-5 he's consistently picking up a cheque and can hold form - a top four chance.

11.50 p.m. R4 3 MIGHTY CONQUEROR - I Azhar; draws handily (4) in this 12-strong field for the Class 4 1100m on the polytrack.  With 57kgs on his back, he is back in Class for this assignment so has the potential to feature in the top four.

1.20 a.m. (Saturday) R7 8 EATON'S GOLD - Shafiq Rizuan; another who is racing in fine form (4-3-1-7), and also now an older horse, he has a good draw, breaking from gate three and carries a lightweight of 53.5kgs.  In this Class 3 1200m on the polytrack, he is a senior now - a place chance in this grade.

2.20 a.m. (Saturday) R9 13 IKING - App CK Ng (a3); has drawn barrier seven , carries 53.5kgs with the apprentice claim but lies first on the ballot for this Class 4 1200m on the polytrack. If he makes the field for this S$60,000 - a place chance.
