FRIDAY 30 JUNE - no Sunday meeting this weekend - a relatively quiet night for the team!

11.20 p.m. R2 6 GANNET - App CK Ng (a3); draws out at nine of 12 starters in this Class 4 1800m on the turf long course D where he carries just 50kgs with the apprentice claim. With nice placings from his last two appearances, he has continued to improve - he faces a very even field and rates a top five chance.

12.50 a.m. (Saturday) R5 1 PRINCE DARCI - Vlad Duric; this son of multiple-time Champion Sire of Singapore winner Darci Brahma has seen his form taper off at his last two starts. Tonight he draws the ace marble and carries 59kgs for the Class 5 1800m on the turf long course D. In this 10 horse line-up, he needs to lift his game.

1.20 a.m. (Saturday) R6 12 BRINGER OF WAR - Derrick David; this very smart 2YO daughter of Burgundy has really made a big impression in her three starts so far in Singapore - finishing second on debut, then third and then she was a dominant last start winner when raging hot favourite. She is shaping as a special filly although it is still early in her career and she has plenty to learn. She has unfortunately drawn the widest of the 12 starters but carries only 50kgs in the S$75,000 Novice SW 1200m on the turf long course D. She has her first outing on the turf but with a nightmare gate she rates a top four chance with any luck from the draw.
