Te Akau Singapore Friday Preview

Te Akau horses racing at Kranji Racecourse in Singapore, where trainer Mark Walker leads the premiership with 82 wins (12 ahead of 2nd) on the last weekend of the season.  

It will be a huge weekend for the team - the grand finale - with 35 runners engaged!

Friday 11 December

11.20 p.m. R1 8 Zac Command (8 g Ishiguru - Dominca) - Choon Ng (a4); drew barrier seven of fourteen (12 run) in the $35,000 Class 5 1000 metres on the polytrack and carries 52.5kgs. He has won twice over this trip and rates a top three chance - one of two in the race for Te Akau.

11.20 p.m. R1 13 Dr Octopus (5 g Perfectly Ready - Kalapana Black) - Michael Rodd; drew barrier thirteen of fourteen (12 run) in the $35,000 Class 5 1000 metres on the polytrack and carries 56kgs. Drawn wide, but rates a top three chance with luck in running.

11.50 p.m. R2 10 Court Case (3 g Star Witness - Marie Doree) - Oscar Chavez; drew barrier two of fourteen (12 run) in the $65,000 Initiation 1200 metres on the polytrack and carries 53.5kgs. On debut, he will improve for the experience but has ability to rate a top four chance - one of two in the race for Te Akau.

11.50 p.m. R2 12 Lim's Absolute (3 f Alamosa - Sea Rhythm) - Antonio Da Silva; drew barrier five of fourteen (12 run) in the $65,000 Initiation 1200 metres on the polytrack and carries 52kgs. She has drawn favourably and is looking to improve.

12.20 a.m. (Saturday) R3 3 Viviano (4 g Keeper - Flying Florence) - Alan Munro; drew barrier one of eleven in the $60,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the polytrack and carries 56kgs. A former Kiwi having his first start in Singapore, he's progressing to more distance and rates a top five chance.
