Friday 27 October
12.20 a.m. (Saturday) R2 9 LIM'S RHYTHM - Glen Boss; draws six of 11 runners in the S$75,000 Restricted Maiden 2&3YO WFA 1200m on the polytrack where he carries only 53kgs. A 3YO by Rock ‘n' Pop, having his second Singapore appearance tonight, he went a solid race on debut when sixth - he is still a bit green and is learning plenty - place chance.
1.20 a.m. (Saturday) R4 2 DISCRETELY RED - Vlad Duric; the ace draw in this 11-strong field for the Maiden 1600m also raced on the polytrack. A 4YO Redwood gelding, he has had four solid efforts at each of his Kranji starts thus far for his Kiwi owners, and tonight will carry 55kgs with the leading Singapore hoop aboard. He gets his chance in this field from barrier one - top four chance.
1.50 a.m. (Saturday) R5 3 LIM'S REGARD - Glen Boss; a son of Red Giant, and the winner of two of his three Singapore starts, he was a Karaka Ready to Run Sale purchase. In this S$60,000 Class 4 1200m on the turf short course C he has unfortunately drawn the widest gate (14) and is weighted with 57.5kgs. This 4YO is in great form but his horror draw makes things very tricky for him and the gun rider will hopefully negate this as much as is possible from the outside of the short course C.
2.20 a.m. (Saturday) R7 10 DECRETO - Craig Grylls; in common with his aforementioned stablemate, he is another Red Giant gelding who also draws the carpark (12 of 12) but has just 53.5kgs assigned for the Class 4 1100m on the polytrack. Chasing the thick end of the S$60,000 purse, he is enjoying good form but the barrier again makes it a tough task.
